Borough of Etna, Pennsylvania, Local Protection Project (LPP) PL84-99 Rehabilitation
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, requires rehabilitation of the Etna Federal Local Protection Project along West Little Pine Creek in Etna Borough and Shaler Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, between stations 24+00 and 26+90. The original channel and embankment sustained severe erosion and structural damage during April 2024 storm events. Work must be completed within 120 calendar days after written Notice to Proceed. The anticipated construction cost is between $200,000 and $450,000, with a single firm-fixed-price purchase order anticipated to be awarded on 13 November 2026. Award will be based on best value, with quotes evaluated on price and past performance, and the Government may reject quotes that are unrealistically low or exceed available funds.
