Crooked Creek Jib Crane Work Platform and Safety Updates
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, is planning a project to erect a maintenance platform on the exterior of the Control Tower at Crooked Creek Lake in Armstrong County, PA. The platform will allow workers to safely maintain an existing jib crane, which has not been regularly serviced since the 1990s, and will also include updates to the exterior ladder to meet new OSHA requirements. This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside, with a Firm-Fixed Price contract and a performance period of 365 calendar days after a written Notice to Proceed. The Request for Quote is expected to be issued on or about 23 July 2026, and contractors must have a current NIST SP 800-171 DoD Assessment on record in SPRS to be considered for award.
