The work consists of upgrading the existing 700 GPM Water Treatment Plant to 1000 GPM consisting of: removing and replacing Well Pump No. 1; Installation of two (2) new 60 HP Filter Feed Pumps; Removal and replacement of the Underdrains, Filter Media, Control Valves and Control System for the existing three (3) Pressure Filters; Two (2) new 150 HP High Service Pumps; Demolition of the existing Potassium Permanganate Feed and Storage Equipment; Removal and replacement of Pumps/VFDs in Raw Water Pump Station; electrical work; plant piping; painting; perimeter fence modifications and site work. The NAICS Code is 237110 - Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction, and the Small Business Size Standard is $45,000,000.00. Per FAR 36.204(f), Magnitude of Construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This procurement is Unrestricted, Full and Open Competition. Any resultant award will be for one (1) Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Contract. All responsible Bidders are encouraged to submit a Bid.
