The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, has a project to install eight (8) Solar LED Light Fixtures, eight (8) 20-foot non-square aluminum light poles, and eight (8) round concrete mounting pedestals in the parking lot of the Resource Manager’s Office at Loyalhanna River Lake in Saltsburg, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. The contract work consists of the following work tasks and activities: a. The work shall include excavation of material in order to place concrete mounting pedestals which the light poles shall be mounted upon, installation of the light poles upon the concrete mounting pedestals including fasteners, and installation of the fixtures to the light poles including fasteners and the battery for the solar light fixture. All material provided in the performance of this contract shall be unused and meet the requirements of the specifications. The work shall be completed within 180 Calendar Days after written Notice to Proceed. Per FAR 36.204(b), the magnitude of construction is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. This acquisition will be procured as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The resulting award will be for one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Contract. This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) and will be submitted through Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) which posts the opportunity to SAM.gov. Therefore, requests for hardcopies will not be honored. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 238210 – Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors. The Small Business Size Standard is $19,000,000.00. In order to submit a Quote on this project, your company must – Be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and maintain an active registration status.
