Specification for Bat-Wing Brush Hog Mower Attachment 1.0 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS. These specifications establish the requirements to furnish a new bat-wing brush hog mower attachment for a John Deere model 5200 tractor (40 to 100 PTO hp). The bat-wing brush hog mower attachment will include a hydraulic kit for raising and lowering. 1.1 A new bat-wing brush hog mower attachment will be delivered to Woodcock Creek Lake with the following salient characteristics: Compatible tractor horsepower shall be between 40 hp and 100 hp. Splitter gearbox horsepower – 160 hp Center and wings gearbox horsepower – 100 hp Input shaft gearbox – 1 3/8”, 6 spline Output shaft gearbox – 1 ½” Cutting capacity diameter – 1 ½” minimum. Hitch weight – 1,000 lbs maximum Machine weight – 3,500 lbs maximum Hitch types – LP Performance hitch and swivel hitch Hitch jack – Standard 2,000 lbs Cutting width – 12’- 0” Overall cutter width – 12’- 7” Cutting height – 1 ½” to 12” Lift hydraulics – Left and right mower decks are hydraulicly operated. Wing folding hydraulics – Left and right mower decks are hydraulicly operated. Wing flex while operating – Max. 20 degrees down, can float up as needed as long as the wheels are still on the ground. Wing transport protection – Wing transport locks. Wing deck skid shoes – 1 replaceable per wing. Center deck skid shoes – 2 replaceable shoes. Blade overlap – 6” Stump jumper/ blade holder – Round dish shaped pan, reinforced with 1” x 3 ½” blade bar. Front and rear guards – Single chain. Input driveline – Category 4 with constant velocity u-joint. Intermediate and wing drivelines – Category 3 with slip-clutch. Number of wheels – 4: two on transport axle and one on each wing axle. Transport axle – Spring-cushioned lift cylinder. Signal lights – LED. 7 pin connector – SAE J560 pin configuration. 2.0 SUBMITTALS.
