Berlin Lake Sewer Treatment Plant Replacement
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers seeks to replace the Wastewater Treatment Facility at Berlin Lake in Berlin Center, Pennsylvania, with work performed entirely on Government property. The project magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Physical construction is estimated from October 2025 through October 2026, and the entire contract requires completion within 720 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. Major work includes installing a new prefabricated plant and pump station, renovating the existing control building, and demolishing the old facility after a seamless operational switchover. The contractor must comply with an existing Ohio EPA permit and will be responsible for operator training and startup.
