The United States Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District intends to award advertisement services to a single source, Pittsburgh Associates under the authority of FAR 13.106-1. The Corps’“Headwaters District,” wants to promote water safety and safe boating to the largest number of local citizens within the Pittsburgh District, during a time frame that aligns with National Safe Boating Week (May 18th to the 24th) and National Water Safety Week, (June 18th to the 25th). The PNC Park is uniquely located in the Corps “Headwaters District,” at the junctions of the Allegheny, Monongahela, and Ohio Rivers. The advertisement services include 81 radio commercials to air a 30 second USACE specific Water Safety Program recording on more than 40 radio states across four states (Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, and Maryland) for seven months. Additionally, the services include USACE safety message table at Pirates games, and a partner for advertising water safety message during May 11, 2024, baseball game at PNC Park. The PNC park venue reaches the largest audience possible, in the headwaters district in between the two National Safety weeks.
