Contract Synopsis Tionesta Lake Pavement Maintenance, Allegheny River, Forest County, Pennsylvania The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, has a project for to mill existing pavement and place an overlay of Asphalt Wearing Course (scratch) and Asphalt Wearing Course over the existing milled pavement at Tionesta Lake Recreation Area which has several tasks that the Contractor must complete, all of which are on the Service Bridge. The Contract work consists of the following work tasks and activities: a. The limits of proposed pavement, as shown in the Figures in the Specifications, shall be milled to a depth of 1.5-inch and receive a 1.5-inch or 2-inch overlay in accordance with the Specifications. b. Remove and dispose of existing wheel stops within the parking areas to be milled and repaved and remove the existing guiderails and replace with new posts and rails in the same location as the existing guiderails. The work shall be completed within 600 calendar days after written Notice to Proceed. Per FAR 36.204(e) the magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This acquisition will be procured as a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. The resulting award will be for one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Contract with a base plus two (2) options. All responsible Bidders are encouraged to participate. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 9 July 2024, online through Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) which posts the opportunity to SAM.gov; therefore, requests for hardcopies of the solicitation will not be honored. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 237310: Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction and the small business size standard is $45 Million.
