The Contractor shall furnish all necessary management, personnel, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, fuel, and vehicles, except as otherwise provided herein, required to perform mowing, cleaning, janitorial, and other maintenance services at the Shenango River Lake project recreation areas, as specified and in strict accordance with all Terms, Conditions, General, Specific and Technical Provisions, Drawings, Attachments, Appendices, etc., contained herein or incorporated by reference. It is emphasized that the work described in this contract is a critical part of the USACE mission. The work described will be performed in a public recreation area. UPDATE 24 July 2023 The government is planning a pre-quotation site visit for Friday, 11 August 2023 at 8:00 AM Eastern Daylight Time. Directions are attached below. ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// The U.S. Army Corp of Engineers (USACE), Pittsburgh District, has a need for a Requirements Contract Buildings and Grounds Maintenance Services at Shenango River Lake. The Shenango River Lake project is located in Hermitage, Mercer County, in the western region of Pennsylvania. Public-use facilities owned and operated by the USACE at Shenango River Lake include a boat launch, picnic area, campground, playground, nature trail, fishing pier and Shenango River Lake. An overview of the services required includes, but is not limited to: mowing (recreational area, dam embankment, golf course), brush removal, mulching, pestiside application, office cleaning, restroom cleaning, ranger station cleaning, managers office cleaning, maintenance building and conference room cleaning, shampooing or steam cleaning, portable toilet cleaning, solid waste removal, and raw sewage removal in accordance with procedures established in the Performance Work Statement which will be provided with the solicitation. The Contractor shall furnish all necessary management, personnel, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, fuel, and vehicles. This procurement will be set aside 100% for Small Business. The NAICS Code is 561730, Landscaping Services and the Small Business size standard is $9.5 million dollars. The anticipated period of performance will be from 1 October 2023 to 30 September 2024, with four (4) one-year option periods if excercised by the government. The total contract term including the exercise of any options, will not exceed 5 years 6 months. Any resulting award will be for one Firm, Fixed-Price, Performance-based services Requirements Contract made to the responsible* offeror whose quote is the greatest value.
