Mosquito Creek is located in Bazetta Township, Ohio near the center of Trumbull County. Although the fee-owned property of Mosquito Creek Lake totals 11,486 acres spanning across three townships, the USACE managed facilities and recreational areas are limited to the lands surrounding the dam and outflow area, including the project offices and the Corps managed boat launch. These areas are known as the Resource Manager's Office, Tailwater Recreation Area, Mosquito Picnic Area, Lakeview Recreation Area (including the Lakeview Nature Trail), State Route 305 Boat Launch, and Mosquito Creek Dam Recreation Area along with the maintenance complex and offices. The Corps managed property contains one public flush restroom, three public vault restrooms, a pavilion, a fishing pier, an observation deck, a boat launch, two-disc golf courses, a nature trail, and a variety of constructed habitat including gardens, apiaries, and man-made wildlife sheltersAn overview of the services required includes, but is not limited to: grass mowing, landscaping, janitorial services, solid waste and raw sewage removal, and pesticide application in accordance with procedures established in the Performance Work Statement which will be provided with the solicitation. The contractor is required to furnish all necessary management, personnel, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, fuel and vehicles.
