Valve Operating Hydraulic Cylinder, Montgomery Locks and Dam, Monaca, Beaver County, Pennsylvania SynopsisThe U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, has a requirement for the fabrication, shop assembly, testing, and delivery of one (1) new hydraulic valve operating cylinder. This item shall be furnished as new and manufactured per the specifications and drawings. Exact dimensions and details of the existing hydraulic cylinder as installed in the field may vary from what is shown on the reference drawings. A site visit is required, after Award of the Contract, to verify layout details and measurements of each hydraulic cylinder prior to submitting shop drawings and beginning any fabrication.The work shall be completed no later than 23 August 2023 after written Notice to Proceed. The estimated cost of the proposed work is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00.This acquisition will be procured as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The resulting award will be for one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Contract. All responsible Offerors are encouraged to participate. The Request for Quote (RFQ) is available online through Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) which posts the opportunity to SAM.gov; therefore, requests for hardcopies of the solicitation will not be honored.The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 333995, Fluid Power Cylinder and Actuator Manufacturing.
