No bids/proposals/quotes are being requested or accepted with this announcement. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR BIDS/PROPOSALS/QUOTES AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, intends to solicit in the future for Buildings and Grounds Maintenance Services at Michael J. Kirwan Dam & Reservoir, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ). The Michael J. Kirwan Dam & Reservoir Project is located in Portage County in northeastern Ohio. The dam is located on the West Branch of the Mahoning River, 10.6 miles upstream from its junction with the Mahoning River near Newton Falls, OH. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow up information requests. The purpose of this announcement is to identify 8(a) contractors who can responsibly perform this performance-based requirement for buildings and grounds maintenance services. Services include grass mowing and trimming; brush cutting; access road clearing; mulching; weeding; trail maintenance; cleaning service; carpet shampooing; floor waxing; solid waste removal; raw sewage and sludge removal; drift, debris and trash removal; and pesticide application. North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this announcement is 561730, Landscaping Services. Small Business Size Standard for this acquisition is $8 Million. Prior Government contract work is not required for submitting a response under this sources sought synopsis. Offerors response to this announcement shall be limited to 3 pages and shall include the following information: Offeror's name, address, point of contact, phone number, and e-mail address. Past performance/experience on standard based contract/projects of similar scope, describing no more than five (5) contracts complete within the past five years of the issue date of this Notice. The past performance information should include project title, location, general description of services to demonstrate relevance to the proposed project, the Offerors' role, dollar value of contract, and name of the company, agency or government entity for which the work was performed with contact information (reference name, phone number and e-mail address). Statement that the Offeror is an enrolled in the Small Business Administration (SBA)’s 8(a) Program. Offeror's Joint Venture information if applicable existing and potential. Interested offerors shall respond to the Sources Sought Announcement no later than 11:00 a.m. (EST) on 18 January 2022.
