The scope of this project is to refurbish the existing special purpose personnel elevator located in the land-wall dam pier house. Refurbishment shall include removal and replacement of the electric geared driving machine, existing controls and control wiring, power electric cables, car fixtures and controls, all travel cables, suspension cables and the governor assembly and rope. The existing car, car doors, guide rails, crosshead, styles, safety plank and deflector sheaves will be inspected and reused if in satisfactory condition.
