The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, has a requirement for the furnishing and installation of a fence around the perimeter at Point Marion Lock and Dam, Dilliner, Greene County, Pennsylvania. In general, the tasks required in performance of this contract include:? Install ~1400? (feet) of new perimeter fencing in accordance with the fence layout in pictures, and typical fence details in drawings, or Reference Drawings - Point Marion Typical Fencing Details? Connect the existing fence to the gate on the river side? Begin fence at existing post on the railroad side guardrail pole (existing pole)? Remove section of the railroad side guardrail on the interior of the project as required to install the fencing? Install the fence along the access road, ~3? (feet) from the road.? Install swing gate near sewage and storage facility at gravel access road? Install 90 deg turn to enclose the concrete slab? Install 90 deg turn to follow the property line, maintain 3? (feet) on both sides behind the concrete slab as a building is to be installed on the slab. Building placement is not in the scope of this contract.? Install 90 deg turn to meet the existing fence.? Install a swing gate near the transformer? Finally, terminate the fence on the old fence near the transformer. AMENDMENT 0001 The purpose of this Amendment is to: 1.
