The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, has a project that is located at Neville Island Locks and Dam Branch Office, 3900 Grand Avenue, Building 1002, Pittsburgh, PA 15225-1510, near the Ohio River, on Neville Island, near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The site of the work may be reached from state and local roads. The general description of the work is to furnish all equipment, labor, materials, layout of work, and supervision to improve the existing bituminous-surfaced parking area and gravel-surfaced roadway as specified herein. The western parking lot will receive approximately 2” of 1,230 square yards bituminous wear course, as well as 65 square yards of full depth repair. Two walkways adjacent to the parking lot will receive approximately 8 square yards of 4” binder course and 2” of base course. The existing gravel roadway will be graded and dressed with base course as required to meet drainage requirements. The existing gravel roadway will receive approximately 65 square yards of 4” of binder course, and 2” of wear course. The eastern existing parking lot will receive no greater than 200 ft of air cleaned and sealed crack repair. Contract drawings and photos of the areas are provided as attachments. This requirement is a 100% Set-Aside for Small Business. Any resultant contract shall be Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) and one award is anticipated. The estimated price range for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. This is a Request for Quote (RFQ). Please see the Attachments to this project including the solicitation and the seven (7) attachments. All responsible quoters must be registered and have an active account in the System for Award Management (SAM) PRIOR to the time quotes are due. Representations and Certifications in SAM are to be complete and accurate prior to receiving a contract award. Registration is free at www.sam.gov.
