The Pittsburgh District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has a need for Replacement of the Roof Systems at the Allegheny River Lock and Dam 9 located in Armstrong County, Templeton, Pennsylvania. This project includes replacement of the existing Operations building roof with EPDM sheeting and replacement of the Cupola roof with a new wood and asphalt shingles roof system. The contractor shall ensure the roofs are completely leak free, so that no water can enter the building. The specifications include warranties. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, supervision, cleanup, and other costs of completing the work as specified to remove and dispose of the existing roofing materials, insulation, vent/drain covers, and conductor heads, and install a new roofing system, insulation, vent/drain covers, and all other miscellaneous components. All material provided in the performance of this contract shall be new and meet the requirements of the specifications. The contractor shall perform all work as indicated in the specifications utilizing the best standards of performance and construction for the respective trades. The contractor shall utilize personnel who are thoroughly trained and familiar with the indicated requirements and the methods needed for proper performance of work. The contractor shall coordinate construction to ensure uninterrupted progress and to provide an accurate fit between the works of all trades. The contractor shall complete all work before 15 November 2021. Work shall begin within 10 calendar days after the contractor receives the Notice To Proceed (NTP).The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 238160 Roofing Contractors, with a size standard of $16.5M. This requirement is a 100% Set-Aside for Small Business. Any resultant contract shall be Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) and one award is anticipated. This is a Request for Quote (RFQ). Please see attached documents on the project including the solicitation and the six (6) additional attachments. In order to receive notification of any amendments to this solicitation, interested vendors must register as an interested vendor on the https://beta.sam.gov website. If you are not registered, the Government is not responsible for providing notification of any changes to this solicitation. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database PRIOR to the time of quotes are due.
