Contractor shall develop/design and test the mix design for the Self-consolidated Concrete (SCC) and supply the SCC per Specification Section 03 31 25 to the job site located at New Cumberland Locks and Dam on the Ohio River. The Government will be placing the SCC, by concrete pump truck, in formwork that is approximately 46 feet deep. One half of the concrete will be pumped approximately 20 feet horizontally and 41 feet vertically down. The other half will be pumped approximately 160 feet horizontally and 41 feet vertically down. It is anticipated that a concrete truck could be at the site approximately one (1) hour. The batch plant shall be within 75 minutes travel time from the delivery site. The estimated total amount of SCC ordered will be between 100 and 130 cubic yards. Desired delivery dates are between 10 May 2021 through 7 June 2021.
