The Pittsburgh District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has a need for roofing replacements at the Mosquito Creek Lake Dwelling and Utility Garage located in Cortland, OH. The work includes all labor and materials necessary to replace the shingle roof over the main body of the dwelling, including the roof over the garage and porch, as well as the roof over the utility garage. The work shall include removal and disposal of all roofing materials over the entire roof, including all flashing, pipe boot, drip edges, shingles and roof felt, and replacement with new roofing underlayment, ice barrier and shingles, new drip edges, new roof ridge vents, new pipe boot, and new flashing around all roof penetrations, as well as removal and reinstallation of the lightning protection system on the dwelling. All material provided in the performance of this contract shall be unused and meet the requirements of the specifications. Gutters and downspouts shall not be replaced. The Contractor shall furnish all equipment, labor of work, supervision, and materials necessary to complete the work specified in the Specifications. The Contractor shall perform all work as indicated in the specifications utilizing the best standards of performance and construction for the respective trades. The Contractor shall utilize personnel who are thoroughly trained and familiar with the indicated requirements and the methods needed for proper performance of work. The Contractor shall coordinate construction to insure uninterrupted progress and to provide an accurate fit between the works of all trades. The period of performance for the contract is 90 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 238160 - Roofing Contractors with a size standard of $16.5 M. This requirement is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business concerns. Any resultant contract shall be Firm-Fixed Price and one Award is anticipated. This is a Request for Quote (RFQ). Please see attached documents on the Project including the Solicitation and the Six (6) Attachments. In order to receive notification of any amendments to this solicitation, interested vendors must register as an interested vendor on the https://beta.sam.gov/ website. If you are not registered, the Government is not responsible for providing notification of any changes to this solicitation. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database PRIOR to the time of quotes are due. Registration is free at www.sam.gov. NOTE: The attached amendment (Amendment 01) to the solicitation extends the deadline for submissions to Thursday, 08/13/20 at 5:00 p.m. This is the first and only amendment issued against this solicition.
