The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Pittsburgh District, has a need for a Requirements contract for Buildings and Grounds Maintenance Services at Tionesta Lake. The project site is located in northwestern Pennsylvania. Tionesta Lake is near Tionesta Borough, Forest County. Public-use facilities owned and operated by the USACE at Tionesta Lake include a boat launch, day-use picnic areas, designated hunting areas, campgrounds, nature trails, a spillway, and outflow fishing access. The Contractor shall furnish all necessary management, personnel, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, fuel, and vehicles as required to perform grass mowing, landscaping maintenance, janitorial, solid waste and raw sewage removal, and other services in accordance with procedures established in the Performance Work Statement which will be provided with the solicitation. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 561730, Landscaping Services, and the small business size standard is $7,500,000. The proposed period of performance will be a base year from 01 February 2019 to 31 January 2020 with four 1-year option periods. The government plans on holding a pre-quote site visit which is highly encouraged; the solicitation will include the date and time. The Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued as a Women-Owned Small Business Set-Aside on or about December 31, 2018 online only through the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fbo.gov). Contractors must be registered and Active in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to receiving any federal contract award (visit www.sam.gov to register). Registration is free. Any resulting award will be for one, firm-fixed-price, performance-based, indefinite delivery Requirements service contract made to the responsible* offeror whose quote is lowest.
