The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Redstone is issuing this sources sought notice as a means of conducting market research to determine if other sources are capable of satisfying the requirement for software support, installation, testing, modeling and simulation provided by Spectral and Imaging band Radiometric Imaging of Targets and Scenes (SPIRITS) software. The SPIRITS program provides significant modeling and simulation of various aviation platforms infrared (IR) signatures, and enhancements of radiometric data acquisition in multiple atmospheric environments for survivability assessments of aviation platforms. In addition to the modeling and simulation, the software provides Graphical User Interface (GUI) based applications for detectability assessments in multiple urban illumination conditions. The software has direct interface with Air Force MOSAIC and allows for the detection and assessment of vertical lift platforms subjected to solar or lunar glint reflections from dynamic rotor components. SPIRIT software is designed and developed by Aerodyne Research, Incorporated, and Aerodyne is the only known company that has the software rights to provide enhancements and modifications to the existing software. The intent is to acquire the above described services through issuance of Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with a period of performance of sixty (60) months. The intended source is Aerodyne Research, Incorporated, Cage (7E954), 45 Manning Road, Billerica, MA 01821-3934. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541511. No solicitation will be issued. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market research is voluntary and the Government will not reimburse any costs incurred for providing a response. This notice is not a request for proposal; however, if your firm has the capability to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: (1) Organization name; physical address; email and website address; telephone number, business size and CAGE code and/or DUNS number; (2) detailed capability statement with any supporting documentation to substantiate claims of capability, experience and past performance. The Government will evaluate all responses to ascertain market capability to determine if there are other firms which can provide services consistent in scope and scale with those described in this notice.
