The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Redstone is issuing this sources sought notice as a means of conducting market research to determine if other sources are capable of satisfying the requirement for inspection, overhaul, calibration and acceptance testing of flight control servos for the UH-60A Rotorcraft-Aircrew Systems Concepts Airborne Laboratory (RASCAL). These servomechanisms provide full authority fly by wire capability to the RASCAL UH-60A and are a critical component without which the aircraft cannot be operated. The servos are custom manufactured units that are unique to the RASCAL aircraft and have specific engineering data and special equipment is required to test and maintain. Currently the servos are manufactured by the MOOG Aircraft Group and they are the only known company that has the engineering data and custom equipment to service and maintain the servos. The intent is to acquire services through issuance of Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract W911W6-19-D-0003 with a period of performance of sixty (60) months. The intended source is Moog Aircraft Group, 20263 S Western Ave, Torrance, CA 90501. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 488190. No solicitation will be issued. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market research is voluntary and the Government will not reimburse any costs incurred for providing a response. This notice is not a request for proposal; however, if your firm has the capability to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: (1) Organization name; physical address; email and website address; telephone number, business size and CAGE code and/or DUNS number; (2) detailed capability statement with any supporting documentation to substantiate claims of capability, experience and past performance. The Government will evaluate all responses to ascertain market capability to determine if there are other firms which can provide services consistent in scope and scale with those described in this notice. Feedback to responses will not be provided. Submission Instructions: All responsible sources may submit a response which will be considered by the agency. Responses to this notice are due no later April 25, 2:00 p.m. EST.
