NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE ANNOUNCEMENT NUMBER: W911W4-15-D-0012, Task Order W911W419F0005 The Army Contracting Command (ACC) – Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) (ACC-I) intends to issue a modification to a sole source Firm-Fixed Price Task Order awarded to New Age Protection, Inc., 6564 Loisdale Court, Suite 1000, Springfield Virginia 22150-1833. This will be Mod P00008 to Contract W911W4-15-D-0012, Task Order (TO) W911W419F0005. The purpose of this modification is to add and exercise Federal Acquisition Clause 52.217-8 Option To Extend Services to the TO. This clause was not evaluated at the time of TO award. The Contractor will provide Access Control and Security Escorts to the HQ INSCOM - Nolan Building, Ft. Belvoir, VA and Metro Park, Alexandria, VA. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A) "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements". The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) code is 561612, Security Guards and Patrol Services, with a size standard of $20.5million. This notice of intent is for information purposes only. All sources eligible to meet this requirement must respond in writing, via e-mail. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence that clearly articulate the company’s ability to satisfy this requirement as outlined above. A request for documentation will not be considered as an affirmative response. If no responses are received by the due date of this notice, to demonstrate comparable capability, then a sole source acquisition award will be made. A determination by the United States Government (USG) not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the USG. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotations. All submissions become USG property and will not be returned. Contractors are advised the USG will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice of intent to sole source.
