The Joint Product Director for Biological Detection Systems (JPD-BDS) under the Joint Project Manager (JPM) for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Sensors, under the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense (JPEO-CBRND) within the Department of Defense (DoD) is conducting a market survey to identify potential industry sources capable of manufacturing new Joint Biological Point Detection System (JBPDS) upgrade kits for the Enhanced Maritime Biological Detection (EMBD) program supporting the United States Navy (USN). The industry source must be experts in the production of laser-based Biological Warfare Agents (BWA) detectors and capable of performing first article testing, integrated logistics support, software support and general support of various Government test activities See the attached detailed Sources Sought Notice.
