Description: U.S. Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) Edgewood Contracting Division (ECD) intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to Filtmore Technologies, cage code 4JHC9 for HEPA filters. The NAICS code for this requirement is 333413. The size standard is 500 employees. The product supply code is 6640 - Laboratory Equipment and Supplies. The proposed action is for 536 pre-filters and 572 HEPA filters for use in chemical agent filtration system (CAFS). The filters are integral in the operations of CAFS that provide filtration of chemical and biological agent rooms within laboratories at the CCDC-Chemical Biological Center in Aberdeen Proving Ground. These laboratories conduct operations involving toxic chemical and biological agent research and testing on items used to protect the military, U.S. civilians and the environment. The filters are critical to the safety of the laboratory operators as well as ensure no chemical or biological agents are released to the environment.
