This is a Request for Information (RFI) for market research only and does not constitute a formal solicitation. The Capability Program Executive for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense is surveying industry capabilities for the development, testing, and manufacturing of miniature sensing elements for chemical and biological threat detection. The required technologies must involve miniaturized sensing elements for threat agents, suitable transduction mechanisms, and scalable ASIC manufacturing methods. Responses to this RFI are requested no later than Wednesday, June 17, 2026. Interested parties should provide white papers and technical details covering design feasibility, operational readiness, and sustainment strategies.
