Request for Information: CPE CBRND Seeking Miniature Sensing Elements for Chemical and Biological Threat Detection

Notice ID:W911SR-26-R-JETT

This RFI seeks to survey industry capabilities for developing, testing, and manufacturing miniature sensing elements for chemical and biological threat detection. The required technologies must perform class-based detection with specificity against environmental interferants and be scalable using ASIC manufacturing techniques. Responses, including white papers and technical insights on design feasibility and operational readiness, are requested by Wednesday, June 17, 2026. The effort is supported by the Joint Science and Technology Office for Chemical and Biological Defense and the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Chemical Biological Center.
