ANNOUNCEMENT OF INDUSTRY DAY: The Army Contracting Command?Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) Contracting Center, Edgewood Contracting Division, Ft Detrick, in support of the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense (JPEO CBRND), CBRN Medical and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency Joint Science and Technology Office (DTRA-JSTO) hereby issues an announcement in advance of a Joint Industry Day for Reactivators and Multi-Drug Autoinjectors for Nerve Agent Threats, to be held on 01 and 02 November 2023 in McLean, VA. This is not a solicitation and JPEO CBRND and DTRA-JSTO are not requesting proposals at this time. The purpose of this Industry Day is to identify industry partners and capabilities to develop improved chemical agent medical countermeasures and allow organizations external to the JPEO CBRND and DTRA-JSTO to help ensure the Reactivating Nerve Agent Treatment System (RNATS) and Consolidated Nerve Agent Treatment System (CNATS) development efforts align with current, enduring, and emerging threats across agencies and services. Reactivating Nerve Agent Treatment System (RNATS) Objective: Deliver a U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved improved reactivator in a vial for use against new chemical warfare threats. Project Components: Drug Formulation and Regulatory Pathway for an Improved Reactivator Testing and Evaluation Sustainable Manufacturing of the Drug Product in a Vial Sponsor product through FDA approval Currently funded FY24 – FY29 Consolidated Nerve Agent Treatment System (CNATS) Objective: Deliver a medical countermeasure that integrates multiple therapeutics in a modernized multi-drug autoinjector, that incorporates an improved reactivator, for use at point of injury and Role 1 Level of Care. Project Components: Device Development and Manufacturing Testing and Evaluation Regulatory Pathway for a Multi-Drug Autoinjector Sponsor product through FDA approval Currently funded FY25-FY29 This Industry Day will include presentations by various Government Agencies as well as opportunities for industry partners to present their capabilities in one-on-one breakout sessions with representatives from the Government agencies. Industry partners will update Government stakeholders, partners, and end users on current efforts and capabilities. Companies that wish to attend must register at usarmy.detrick.dod-jpeo-cbrnd.mbx.industry-day@army.mil no later than 15 September 2023. Please include company name, individuals attending (please limit to no more than 5) and confirm your preference to present your capabilities to the Government. Those interested in presenting their capabilities must also provide a capabilities statement encompassing the following: Company overview Capabilities for a multi-drug autoinjector and reconstitution abilities. Reactivator work currently in progress or planned. Capabilities statements should be limited to 2 pages (additional pages will not be reviewed) and included with your registration at usarmy.detrick.dod-jpeo-cbrnd.mbx.industry-day@army.mil no later than 15 September 2023. No extensions will be granted. Once evaluated as appropriate, presenters will be notified with further details and scheduling information. Proprietary information should be identified as Company Proprietary. Do not use Government security classification markings. The Government is not liable to reimburse any costs incurred by companies or entities that respond in any way to this announcement or participate in the Industry Day.
