The Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) intends to award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) small purchase to Veteran Corps of America for the temporary storage of approximately 300 pieces of Government-owned analytical equipment. Award will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The proposed action will be solicited on a basis of other than full and open competition pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. To date, market research has not identified any other sources capable of meeting the following requirements: 1) minimum 4100 sf of space, 2) climate controlled indoor storage, 3) secured facility, 4) within 45 minutes of APG-Edgewood, and 5) immediate availability. The place of performance is Abingdon, MD. The base period of performance is 12 months, with options not to exceed 36 months. Storage is intended to be temporary as the Government searches for a Government-owned and -operated facility. This notice is not a request for quotation. Telephonic inquiries will not be returned. Interested, responsible parties may submit a capability statement to the Contracting Officer by email no later than 2:00PM 29 January 2019.
