The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) - Fort Bliss, TX is issuing a construction solicitation W911SG-25-B-A030, in support of the United States Army Directorate of Public Works (DPW) located at Fort Bliss, Texas. General Information: Remove the existing shingle roof system entirely down to the structural deck. Contractor considers up to 500 SF damaged deck. Replace only sections of roof decking that are too damaged for continued use. Sections of damaged roof decking visible from ground level shall be replaced in-kind. For damaged roof decking that cannot be seen from ground level, 3/4-inch plywood sheathing may be installed. If necessary, reinforce the existing rafters to be level and flat. Provide and install Owens-Corning Duration asphalt shingles, Driftwood system with 120 mph wind speed coverage or approved equal. Existing fascia to be remain in place. Repair and replace wood rafter tails, prime and paint (two coats). Prime and paint (two coats) all existing, exposed wood deck soffit, fascia, and rafter tails. Install new fall protection roof anchor. Repointing of the existing chimney to restore structural integrity, prevent water intrusion, and improve the aesthetic appearance. DPW-ED has a valid survey for asbestos-containing materials (ACM) and lead-based paint (LBP) for Building 2010. Procurement will be solicited as one hundred percent (100%) HUBZone. The solicitation will result in a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract. The anticipated period of performance is 90 calendar days after Notice to Proceed has been issued. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238160 (Size Standard $19 Million). The magnitude of the procurement is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000.
