NOTICE OF CONTRACT ACTION (NOCA) - The Mission and Installation Contracting Command at Fort Bliss (MICC-Fort Bliss) intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Document Shredding and Hard Drive Destruction at Fort Bliss, TX on or about 19 April 2024 with written quotations due on or about 3 May 2024. This synopsis neither constitutes a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ), nor an Invitation for Bids (IFB), nor does it restrict the government in any way to an ultimate acquisition approach. This synopsis should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. This acquisition is a follow-on effort to contract W911SG22F0122. This acquisition is to conducted on site document shredding and hard drive destruction. The contractor will provide a specified number of (64 & 96) gallon shredder containers for the William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC), El Paso, TX as described herein and in accordance with the Government mandated standards, outputs, and regulations. The Contractor shall service full containers weekly and furnish all materials, equipment, management, labor, supervision, training, and transportation to provide complete shredding services for WBAMC and the designated outlying clinics. The contractor will also pick up, transport and destroy physical, magnetic hard drives removed from desktop computers in order to prevent the loss of any Personally Identifiable Information (PII)and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability (HIPAA) issues This action is being released as a total small business set-aside. The Government intends to award a single Fixed Price (FP) contract as a result from this solicitation. The solicitation and resulting contract will be for one base period and four additional one-year option periods. Estimated performance start date is 6 May 2024. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 561990. Potential Offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents from https://www.sam.gov. This office will not issue hard copies of the solicitation, attachments, or technical documents. All potential offerors are reminded, in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contract Registration, that lack of registration in the SAM database with a CAGE code and UEI at time of proposal submission will make an offeror ineligible for award. Also, the contractor must have the NAICS code listed in this solicitation on their SAM Registration. No site visit will be offered for this requirement, as all details are clearly spelled out within the PWS. Specific instructions on submitting comments/questions will be provided in the final RFQ. Official responses/proposals to the final RFQ will be accepted only via email. Hard copies will not be accepted for this RFQ. The contracting office will only accept electronic quotes for this RFQ.
