This is a Sources Sought Notice (SSN) as defined by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). A Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Quote (RFQ) are not applicable for this query and no solicitation document currently exists for the request. This SSN is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a RFP, RFQ, nor as an obligation on the part of the Government for follow-on acquisition. Responses to this notice are not offers and will not be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this SSN. All information received in response to this SSN that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at West Point, NY is interest in locating an authorized supplier / vendor of DirecTV that is capable of supplying / installing / activating / maintaining DirecTV services (television only) at Keller Army Community Hospital. The prospective Contractor must provide equipment that uses the pre-existing RG6 Coax Cable system that is already pre-installed throughout the hospital (Bldgs 900 & 900B). The RG6 Coax Cable will not be removed nor replaced. Therefore, all respondents must be able to provide the necessary equipment that will function seamlessly with the RG6 Coax Cable system. Recommendations to remove or replace it will not be required nor discussed. The only requirements for the prospective Contractor will be to supply the main equipment that provides and activates the service (Network Server, Satellite Dish, etc.), install it to the RG6 Coax Cable system, activate the service, and maintain it. ***** SEE ATTACHED STATEMENT OF WORK FOR COMPLETE INFO ***** This requirement is 100% set-aside for Small Business registered under NAICS Code 517111; Small Business Size of 1500 employees. This SSN is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document is available. However, any interested party that believes is capable of meeting our requirements may identify themselves but must submit evidence of their capability to actually be able to fulfill the requirements. Your capability statement(s) must clearly show your company’s ability to meet all the requirements listed in the attached Statement of Work (SOW).
