This is a Request for Information (RFI) as defined in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e). A Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Quote (RFQ) are not applicable for this query and no solicitation document exists for the request. This RFI is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a RFP, RFQ, nor as an obligation on the part of the Government for follow-on acquisition. Responses to this notice are not offers and will not be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. SPECIAL NOTE: Your capability statement must provide information that clearly demonstrates your company’s ability to meet our requirement as it pertains to Band Uniforms and Uniform Accessories. Therefore, we will only accept statements from vendors that are registered with NAICS Code 315990 or 315999. Vendors that submit capability statements or proposals with NAICS Codes that have nothing to do with Band Uniforms or Uniform Accessories will not be accepted as potential sources for this requirement. Your company must be able to meet this requirement in order to be considered as a potential source. Failure to meet our requirement will be considered as “non-responsive”. The Federal Government is interest in the following items: Ceremonial White Dress Cords for Band Uniform = 200 each SPECIAL FEATURES (see attached pictures): Dress Cord Body consists of half-braided / half-cord with 2 string loops (1 inch) to attach to uniform. Cord thickness is 0.5 inch. 1. Color of Dress / Shoulder Cord: White 2. Material of Dress / Shoulder Cord - Braided Area: Rayon and Cotton - Fringe Area: 3” Bullion Nylon Fringe 3. 2 each custom designed Celtic Knots (2.5 inch Diameter) by the braid on dress cord. 4. 2 each Beads are attached to the top of the Celtic Knots (approx. 0.75 inch height x 0.6 inch width). 5. 2 each custom designed Tassels are attached to the bottom of the Celtic Knots (3 inches). 6. 2 each Adjustment Braided Loops on each side of the braided portion of the cord (approx. 1 inch diameter). All respondents must read and understand the full scope of the specifications before submitting a proposal or capability statement. Any respondent that is actually capable of providing the item(s) per the specifications may submit a capability statement or proposal which shall be considered by the agency for evaluation purposes only.
