In accordance with FAR clause 52.215-3 Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes (OCT 1997) (a) The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this solicitation or to otherwise pay for the information solicited except as an allowable cost under other contracts as provided in subsection 31.205-18, Bid and proposal costs, of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. Subject line: W911SD21R0054 Comments The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and supervision, except Government Furnished Property (GFP) and services defined in Part 3 of this Performance Work Statement (PWS), , necessary to perform Mess Attendant/Waiter Service as defined in this PWS at the Cadet Mess in Washington Hall, at the U.S. Military Academy (USMA). The Cadet Mess attendant and waiter service does not include food preparation. Consistent with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 37,104 guidance, the Government will not exercise supervision or control over contractor personnel. It is the policy of the United States Military Academy to remain open during adverse weather conditions and to continue full operations in support of the mission. The Contractor’s duties shall include family style service, cafeteria style service, optional meals, mandatory meals, grab and go, provide take out service, individual plate service and special event meals to be performed in accordance with the terms of this contract. The United States Corps of Cadets has 4,400 cadets and Cadet Mess serves 1.8 million meals annually. The facility is 100,000 square feet. The Contractor shall be responsible for 68,000 square feet which includes dining and housekeeping area of responsibility.
