The United States Military Academy intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for On-Post Grass Cutting Services. The requirement shall include inspect, service, maintain, and landscape grounds of the United States Army Garrison (USAG) at West Point, NY. The work shall include scheduling and performance necessary to perform the following services on approximately (129) acres. Grass cutting, trimming, removal of grass clippings and edging. Selected ground clearing, cleaning and waste and debris removal as directed by the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) or Alternate Contracting Officer’s Representative (ACOR). The Contractor shall provide all work necessary to maintain the grounds to the standards specified herein. This will be a Firm Fixed Price type contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 561730. The Small Business Size Standard is $8.0 million. This procurement will be set-aside for 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns. The anticipated period of performance for this acquisition is one (1) base year plus four (4) option years. The source selection process that will be used is Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. The solicitation process will consist of the following: Solicitation will be issued on/or about 28 February 2020. Quotes will be due on/or about 27 March 2020. The selection process will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 13 source selection procedures. Award is anticipated by 17 May 2020.
