THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The U.S. Government intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) to procure Cemetery Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services for the United States Military Academy (USMA) located at West Point, NY. It is the U.S. Government's intent to compete this requirement between capable Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs).The NAICS code is 812220 Cemeteries and Crematories with a small business size standard of $20.5M. It is anticipated that the period of performance (PoP) will be for a base year and two (2) one-year options. The anticipated PoP for the base year is April 1, 2019 through March 31, 2020. This notice is issued solely to notify industry of an upcoming RFQ - it does not constitute an actual RFQ. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for any services. Further, the U.S. Government is not seeking quotes at this time and will not accept unsolicited quotes in response to this presolicitation notice. The U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. Submittals will not be returned to the responder. The RFQ will be posted to the Governmentwide Point of Entry (GPE), Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps/FBO), located at www.fbo.gov in the near future. It is the responsibility of potential quoters to monitor the GPE (FBO) for the RFQ.
