A Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Quote (RFQ) are not applicable for this query and no solicitation document exists for the request. This RFI is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a RFP, RFQ, nor as an obligation on the part of the Government for follow-on acquisition. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary or confidential will be handled accordingly. ** SUPPLY, REPLACE, INSTALL, & MOUNT AUDIO / VIDEO SYSTEM w/ACCESSORIES ** 1. The Eisenhower Hall Theater Department at West Point, NY is interested in locating a vendor that specializes in supplying, replacing, installing, mounting, and wiring audio/video equipment specifically under NAICS Code 334310. The desired vendor must have PROVEN SKILLS and EXPERIENCE that clearly demonstrate the ability to perform as required. This project is 100% Set-Aside for SMALL BUSINESS concerns STRICTLY UNDER NAICS CODE 334310 (Audio & Video Equipment Manufacturing). However, it is preferred that a vendor have NAICS Codes 334310 and 238210 assigned to them in SAMs (Systems for Awards Management) in order to be fully considered for this project. Please note... NAICS Code 334310 must be listed as a SMALL BUSINESS in SAMs - and - NAICS Code 238210 will NOT be considered as the PRIMARY NAICS for this project nor as an exception to bypass the SMALL BUSINESS set-aside requirement (NO EXCEPTIONS). 2. A Sources Sought Notice was previously posted for this same requirement under Solicitation# W911SD11312973. However, some of the requirements have changed. It was determined that capability statements and RFQ's alone would be INSUFFICIENT for selecting the proper vendor for this project. Therefore, a SITE VISIT is hereby posted as a MANDATORY REQUIREMENT for all interested vendors that qualify for this project as stated in Paragraph 1 above. All vendors are required to read the attached document for more information regarding the NEW specifications for this RFI. Failure to do so could be considered as "Non-Responsive". SITE VISIT: A site visit is set for August 8, 2019 @ 1:00 PM (EST). Anyone arriving late will need to reschedule for another date and time IF ONE IS AVAILABLE AT OUR DISCRETION (depending on how late you arrive). It will last approximately 1 - 2 hour(s) and include a tour and inspection of the facility. The tour will assemble outside at Bldg 655 / Eisenhower Hall (655 Pitcher Road), United States Military Academy, West Point, NY. Prospective vendors must bring at least ONE form of Government-issued photo ID (driver's license, passport, military ID, etc.). All vendors must read the attached "Visitors Center" document for complete details and special entry protocols into West Point. Failure to do so will prevent you from entering into West Point. Participation is limited to 2 persons per vendor. This will be THE ONLY ACCESS vendors will have to walk through the building and required areas. NOTE 1: All vendors are required to READ and REVIEW the attached documents for complete information regarding the Scope of Work, directions to West Point, and Visitor's Center information for special entry protocols into West Point. NOTE 2: Please contact the Visitor's Center for ALL QUESTIONS regarding proper ID's, entry, and access to West Point (see attached document). NOTE 3: Attendance is MANDATORY. However, attendees are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI and attending the site visit.
