This is a Request for Information (RFI) as defined in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e). A Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Quote (RFQ) are not applicable for this query and no solicitation document exists for the request. This RFI is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a RFP, RFQ, nor as an obligation on the part of the Government for follow-on acquisition. No commitment, promise, nor guarantee is implied for accepting a Capability Statement or a Quote. It will simply be used to determine if your company's product or services meet our requirements. If you do submit a quote, you MUST ATTACH COMPLETE SPECIFICATIONS that will show how they MEET, EXCEED, or are EQUAL to the specifications listed on our SCOPE OF WORK document (see attached). SUPPLY, INSTALL, AND MOUNT AUDIO / VIDEO SYSTEMS WITH NUMEROUS COMPONENTS The United States Military Academy at West Point, NY is interested in locating a vendor that specializes in supplying, installing, and mounting Audio / Video Equipment, Systems, and Components (see attached document for complete info and requirements). The required items / equipment / supplies are to be BRAND NAME -or- EQUAL. However, you must be ready to provide COMPLETE SPECIFICATIONS for ANY item / equipment / supply that is not BRAND NAME (when an RFQ is actually requested). Failure to provide complete specifications for NON-BRAND NAME items could be considered as non-responsive and exclude you as a potential source on a Request for Quotes. NOTE 1: This requirement is 100% Set-Aside for SMALL BUSINESS concerns STRICTLY UNDER NAICS CODE 334310 (Audio & Video Equipment Manufacturing) -or- an EQUIVALENT that deals with Audio / Video Equipment and Supplies. Vendors that do NOT actually, technically, or legal have this NAICS CODE (or an EQUIVALENT) assigned to them will NOT be considered for this notice nor for a potential Request for Quotes (no exceptions). NOTE 2: All capability statements will be accepted. Interested respondents should submit a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 10 to 12 pages in length, single spaced, 12 point font minimum) clearly demonstrating the firm's ability to perform this requirement. Generic capability statements will not be accepted. At a minimum, the package shall address the following: a. Your COMPANY NAME, OFFICE LOCATION(s), DUNS#, CAGE CODE, NAICS CODE(s), DECLARATION OF BUSINESS SIZE (LARGE or SMALL), and SMALL BUSINESS CERTIFICATION(s) such as 8a, WOSB, EDWOSB, HUBZone, SDVOSB, etc. b. TITLE OF THE PROJECT your company was directly involved in, the CUSTOMER (Company) NAME, ADDRESS, POINT OF CONTACT, PHONE NUMBER, and *EMAIL ADDRESS (*if available). c. Specific experience (private and/or government) in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and/or Connecticut supplying, replacing, installing, mounting, and setting-up Audio / Video Systems, Equipment, and Components. Statements should describe the dollar value, indicate whether your firm acted as the prime or subcontractor, list a CUSTOMER Point of Contact with phone number (phone number must be on the CUSTOMERs [company] website, company directory, or can be found on-line... it WILL BE CHECKED), and describe how the referenced experience relates to the Supplying / Replacing / Installing / Mounting / Disposal services described in our SCOPE OF WORK (see attached). A maximum of four (4) project examples reflecting the firm's experience should be submitted. FALSE or MISLEADING experiences will automatically exclude you as a potential source and you will not be considered for this project nor for future Request for Quotes for this project. NOTE 3: If you submit a quote in lieu of a capability statement, you may do so as long as it is with the understanding that it will be for PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY and nothing more. You MUST include your DUNS#, CAGE CODE, and TAX-ID to be identified as fully registered in SAMs (Systems for Award Management). You must also list the FULL PART NUMBER or MODEL NUMBER and FULL PRODUCT NOMENCLATURE on a quote. Responses to this notice are not offers and will not be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary or confidential will be handled accordingly. NOTE 4: This solicitation is issued in electronic format only and is available on the Internet at https://fbo.gov. Vendors that use third-party websites to inquire about this solicitation or to obtain documents will not be provided guidance nor assistance. All information / documents must be reviewed and obtained only through https://fbo.gov (fbo.gov is a FREE no-fee federal government website). NOTE 5: All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Please make sure to state your BUSINESS SIZE (Small / Large), DUNS#, TAX-ID#, and CAGE CODE in your responses.
