The U.S. Government is issuing an IFB to procure Packing and Crating services for the United States Military Academy (USMA) located at West Point, NY. This requirement is being competed between capable small businesses. The NAICS code is 488991 Packing and Crating with a small business size standard of $30 M. The period of performance (POP) will be for a base year and four (4) one-year options. The anticipated POP for the base year is February 28, 2023 through February 27, 2024. Please see IFB package with the revised Performance Work Statement (PWS). Bid Due and Bid Opening date is 16 February 2023 NLT 1100 Eastern Standard Time (EST). Bid shall be submitted prior to the due date and time to the following address: Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) - West Point, ATTN: Tara D’Amico, Contract Specialist, 681 Hardee Place, 1st Floor, Room 100, West Point, NY 10996. Bid shall be submitted in a sealed envelope with the following information on the outside: Invitations For Bids Number, Contract Specialist Name, Date and Time of Bid Opening, and Bidders name and address. Please do not count the shipping/mailing envelope/box as your sealed envelope. Shipment packaging shall be able to be removed and still maintain the integrity of the sealed bid package. Bid MUST be submitted via mail or hand carried to the MICC - West Point office to be received and time stamped prior to the due date and time listed. Bids received after this date and time, or bids received via fax or email will not be considered and will be ineligible for award. (NOTE: Formal Bid Opening will be at the same address as in 1.b. in Room 106). The bidder's failure to include information required by this solicitation will result in the bid submission being found non-responsive and will therefore be ineligible for award. The contractor shall review all the documents and attachments for the Packing and Crating, W911SD-23-B-0001 and send their bids with the completed attachments, signed, dated and completed Solicitation W911SD-23-B-0001, with their bids no later than Thursday, 16 February 2023 at 11 am. Eastern Time by mail or in-person only, in order to be considered for award. All interested offerors, the new Solicitation number for the Packing and Crating will be W911SD-23-B-0001 and the Solicitation W911SD-23-R-0018 will be cancelled. I will be cancelling the Solicitation # W911SD-23-R-0018 for the Packing and Crating at West Point on SAM.Gov. Please look on SAM.Gov with the new Solicitation # W911SD-23-B-0001 and mail the new signed, dated and completed Solicitation W911SD-23-B-0001 with all your documents. Additionally, the closing date for the Packing and Crating will be extended to Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 11 am.
