The solicitation number is W911SD-20-R-0177 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-09. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 335312 with a small business size standard of 1,250.00 employees. This requirement is a Small Business Set-Aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids. Questions not received within a reasonable time prior to close of the solicitation may not be considered.*** For this solicitation, MICC West Point intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, Unison, Inc. Unison Marketplace has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. MICC West Point is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, competed, real-time bids. SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS This is a Sources Sought Notice ONLY. The U.S. Government desires to procure (2) Two Skid Mounted Generators for The United States Military Academy at West Point, NY on a small business set-aside basis, provided 2 or more qualified small businesses respond to this sources sought synopsis with information sufficient to support a set-aside. Be advised that the U.S. Government will not be able to set aside this requirement if 2 or more small businesses do not respond with information to support the set-aside. We encourage all small businesses, in all socioeconomic categories (including, 8(a) Business Development Program, Small Disadvantage Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Women-Owned Small Business concerns), to identify their capabilities in meeting the requirement at a fair market price. In response to this sources sought, please provide: 1.
