SOURCES SOUGHT This is a Sources Sought Notice ONLY. The U.S. Government has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, material, equipment and supervision in accordance with these specifications necessary to Repair or Augment the Lightning Protection System (LPS) and Grounding System at the Ammunition Storage Post (ASP) located at the United States Army Garrison, In performing this contract, the contractor shall provide for the protecting lives and health of employees and other persons, preventing damage to property, materials, supplies and equipment and avoid working interruptions. The contractor shall adhere to the requirements of Engineer Safety Manual EM 385-1-1, OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Construction. This Sources Sought notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of the Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential qualified vendors relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 238290 (Other Building Equipment Contractors) All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, as described below, which shall be considered by the agency. Responses are to be sent via email to Kymberly Aviles at Kymberly.y.aviles.civ@mail.mil no later than 12:00 PM on 20 Feb 2019. In response to this sources sought, please provide: 1. Name of the firm, point of contact, phone number, email address, DUNS number, CAGE code, a statement regarding small business status (including small business type(s)/certifications(s) such as SDB, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, etc.) and the corresponding NAICS code. 2. Identify whether your firm is interested in competing for this requirement as a prime contractor or not. Identify subcontracting, joint ventures or teaming arrangement that will be pursued, if any. 3. Information in sufficient detail regarding previous experience (indicate whether as a prime contractor or subcontractor) on similar requirements (include size, scope, complexity, timeframe, government or commercial), pertinent certifications, etc., that will facilitate making a capability determination. 4. In terms of availability of adequate number of personnel in key disciplines and equipment availability, a statement regarding the firm's bonding capacity 5. Identify how the Army can best structure these contract requirements to facilitate competition by and among small business concerns. 6. Any suggestions or comments about the NAICS code selection, contract type, or effort in general that this action is unreasonably restricting competition. Include the subject of the acquisition, this announcement, and the MICC POC information from the FedBizOpps notice. Provide the specific aspects that unreasonably restrict competition and the rationale for such conclusion.
