Date: 04/11/2019 Subject: Synopsis Solicitation, Ecclesiastical Custom Cabinets The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Installation Contracting Office, West Point, NY (MICC-West Point) is issuing this combined synopsis/solicitation for Ecclesiastical Custom Wood Cabinets, U.S. Army West Point Military Academy Cadet Chapel at West Point, NY. The Period of Performance is for a 31 July 2019 - 30 July 2020. This requirement will be 100% set aside for Small Business concerns under NAICS code 337127 Institutional Furniture Manufacturing, size standard of 500 Employees and FSC/PSC of 7195. In order to be eligible for award, registered as a Small Business under the appropriate NAICS code in the System for Award Management (SAM) at sam.gov. The U.S. Government desires to procure a service to Replace Wooded Cabinets in the Post Chapel on a small business set-aside basis, provided 2 or more qualified small businesses respond to this sources sought synopsis with information sufficient to support a set-aside. Be advised that the U.S. Government will not be able to set aside this requirement if 2 or more small businesses do not respond with information to support the set-aside. We encourage all small businesses, in all socioeconomic categories (including, 8(a) Business Development Program, Small Disadvantage Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Women-Owned Small Business concerns), to identify their capabilities in meeting the requirement at a fair market price. Requirements: • Replace existing cabinets • Turnkey solution; experienced ecclesiastical cabinetmaker with the ability to design, build and finish high quality custom cabinetry in historical styles and install, matching into surrounding furnishings. 4. Information to help determine if the requirement for Replace Wooded Cabinets in the Post Chapel is commercially available, including pricing information, basis for the pricing information (e.g., market pricing, catalog pricing), delivery schedules, customary terms and conditions, warranties, etc. 5. Identify how the Army can best structure these contract requirements to facilitate competition by and among small business concerns. 6. Identify any condition or action that may be having the effect of unnecessarily restricting competition with respect to this acquisition.
