MICC at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA intends to award a contract for Education and Vocational Training for prisoners at the Northwestern Joint Regional Correctional Facility (NWJRCF). Performance will occur at NWJRCF, 20000 Alder Rd, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA 98433. The contractor must provide instructors and state-approved curriculum for a Vocational Training Program that prepares prisoners for future employment, certification, degrees, and licensure. NWJRCF is a medium-security military correctional facility housing prisoners with sentences up to 10 years and focuses on custody/control, education, vocational opportunities, and behavioral/mental health programs for transition back to civilian community or duty. All duties must comply with industry standards and Federal/State policies, and the U.S. Government encourages all interested businesses, large and small, to respond to this RFQ.
