The Department of the Army, Mission and Installation Contracting Command intends to issue a solicitation for a contractor to provide Protective Coatings services to Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington. The contractor shall provide all plant, labor, tools, equipment, materials, and perform all work in strict accordance with the specifications and plans required for individual task orders. The requirements cover a broad range of protective coating applications and repairs. During the contract period, the Government will identify specific jobs and issue individual task orders to the contractor for job completion. The contractor shall maintain a management office to receive Request for Task Order Proposals, signed task orders, and Notices to Proceed; to receive and initiate contract correspondence; and to provide other construction management services related to accomplishing individual task orders. The task orders will vary in size. The task orders will primarily include tasks associated with protective coating application, repairs, and surface preparation. The contract for the required work will be a construction Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract. A complete Statement of Work and specifications will be included in the solicitation. The solicitation number is W911S8-20-B-0002. The solicitation will result in a single award. The applicable NAICS code is 238320, Painting & Wall Covering Contractors, and the small business size standard is $16.5 million. This procurement will be a 100% small business set-aside. The anticipated contract ordering periods are a base period of 1 June 2020 – 31 May 2021 and four (4) one-year option periods: Option Period 1 1 June 2021 - 31 May 2022 Option Period 2 1 June 2022 - 31 May 2023 Option Period 3 1 June 2023 - 31 May 2024 Option Period 4 1 June 2024 - 31 May 2025.
