Description of Services/Introduction: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to fabricate or manufacture an Altitude Chamber with MIL-STD 810 Rapid Decompression Capability as defined the technical specification requirement. Location: Fabrication of the Altitude Chamber will be at both the vendor location and government delivery point. Scope: The contractor will be required to design, fabricate, configure and install a number of subsystems in order to meet the requirements and specifications of this contract. The contractor will also be required to perform an acceptance test as part of this contract. The fabrication can be done at the contractor’s location or at WDTC. WDTC is located about 50 miles from the nearest town of any size that has any accommodations. DPG does have a dinner located in the test area. The Government shall neither supervise contractor employees nor control the method by which the contractor performs the required tasks. Under no circumstances shall the Government assign tasks to, or prepare work schedules for, individual contractor employees. It shall be the responsibility of the contractor to manage its employees and to guard against any actions that are of the nature of personal services or give the perception of personal services. If the contractor believes that any actions constitute, or are perceived to constitute personal services, it shall be the contractor's responsibility to notify the Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO) immediately. The contractor proposal shall include preliminary design calculations for air flow, temperature, and altitude control, and demonstrate adequate equipment capacity. The contractor may propose alternate design or fabrication options to meet the specification requirements; the proposal shall define and justify the reason for the alternate design.]. Basic Services. The contractor shall provide services for the fabrication, delivery, installation (including any remote equipment), performance testing, and training for the Altitude Chamber with MIL-STD 810H Rapid Decompression Capability. Delivery Date: 24 September 2025 Place of Performance: Fabrication and installation to be at both the government location and contractor location. Any installation, field piping, and electrical connections of the altitude chamber and remote equipment will be done on at DPG. DPG is located about 89 miles Southwest of Salt Lake City, Utah. Normal workdays are Monday through Thursday except US Federal Holidays. Workers typically work ten (10) hours per day, 40 hours per week. Core hours of work are from 0700 to 1700 daily.
