SPD maintains critical autoclave/sterilization equipment located at Biological Defense Mission Support Facility (BDMSF), Wig Mountain Biological Test Facility, and the Granite Biological Test Facility (GBTF) located at US Army Dugway Proving Ground, UT 84022-5004. The Contractor shall provide annual Preventative Maintenance & Technical Repair services on sterilization equipment operated by SPD. The PMCS and repair required under this contract are non-personal in nature and require a qualified service technician. Further detail is provided in the draft Performance Based Work Statement (PBWS) attached to this announcement (Attachment 1). All validation and certification encounters will conclude with a full-run check cycle. Performance of services will occur in Biosafety Level 2 and 3 (BSL 2 or 3) laboratories and spaces. Needs to procure a service contract provide annual Preventative Maintenance Checks Service and Repair on sterilization equipment operated by SPD. The PMCS and repair required under this contract are non-personal in nature and require a qualified service technician. LOCATION MAKE MODEL BDMSF Amsco Eagle SV-3043 Scientific Vacuum Sterilizer Hiclave HV-50 GBTF Amsco Eagle Series 3053 Vacamatic Amsco Pre-Vac LT 55983 (Bio Cat II) WMBTF Amsco R78VS-5 (Double door model). Bio Cat II Pre-Vac Model 2436 Maintenance and repair tasks will be onsite at DPG. Training on functionality is also required on any newer software upgrades or hardware issues. The Contractor shall provide Preventative Maintenance & technical services in support of the areas specified in Program Background (above). Further detail is provided in the draft Performance Based Work Statement (PBWS) attached to this announcement (Attachment 1). The estimated period of performance consists of Base period of 1 year plus 4-option periods of 1-year each with performance commencing in October 2020. Specifics regarding the number of option periods will be provided in the solicitation. The contract type is anticipated to be Firm Fixed Price (FFP). The Level of Effort for 5-years is estimated at 600 man-hours.
