This contract requires a diesel-powered, trailer-mounted sealant melting unit with a minimum 260-gallon capacity and a melt rate of at least 2,000 pounds per hour. The unit must include a 20 hp liquid-cooled diesel engine with emergency shutdown, digital controls, safety shut-offs on the loading door and applicator wand, and a bi-directional variable speed pump. Additional requirements include a 25-gallon fuel tank, hydraulic tank, trailer lighting, spare tire, adjustable hitch, fire extinguisher, and tool box.
