The boiler must be rated at 399 MBH Input and 359 MBH Output, be natural gas fired with 90% efficiency, and include a full modulation firing system with a 5:1 turndown. Required inclusions are a condensate neutralizing kit, start-up services, and specific warranties, including a 10-year warranty on the heat exchanger for defects and a 25-year warranty for thermal stress. The unit must also include a BACnet processor and a Dungs lock-up style high gas pressure regulator. The preferred model is the KN4 Condensing Hot Water Boiler.
