This project involves preparing a 30% design for new Pre-Mix and Nitro Cellulose Dehydration facilities at the Radford Army Ammunition Plant (RFAAP) to modernize critical propellant manufacturing processes. The work aims to replace aging infrastructure, specifically a single 50-year-old Pre-Mix building and related systems, which currently pose a risk of production failure. The design must incorporate the most modern, safe, environmentally friendly, and automated technologies. The performance location is the Radford Army Ammunition Plant.
