The reverse auction marketplace shall leverage limited resources by reducing administrative tasks and associated labor costs. The streamlined processes and the reverse auctioning shall result in costs savings to the Army, ensure acquisition regulatory compliance is maintained, high levels of competition are achieved, fair and reasonable prices are obtained, and socioeconomic goals are met.
