This is a notification that the Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Drum, has awarded a sole source, firm-fixed price contract IAW FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii) for commercial supplies or services greater than the SAT but not exceeding $7M , contracting officer determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available to Harris Corporation. The Government requires technical assistance and software support of Fort Drum's Land Mobile Radio System. Harris Corporation is the sole provider of all software contained within the current Land Mobile Radio System. The information contained in the software is proprietary information; therefore distributors of the systems are not permitted to provide the required technical assistance to the existing radio system. This notice is not a request for quotations. The contractor identified is the only known source for the subjectrequirement. Responses to this notification will be used to determine if competition exists. Any such responses must be in writing and include technical information regarding the proposed services and method of providing. The Government will not pay for information submitted. All responses must be received no later than 3:00 PM EST February 27, 2020.
